About The Position

The Women’s Health Program Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Women’s Health program across all Su Clinica sites. This role is responsible for program performance, quality, access, and growth, and working in close partnership with Clinic/Practice Managers, the Chief Nursing Officer, and clinical leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery. This position does not manage day-to-day clinic operations at individual sites, but instead focuses on program development, standardization of workflows, provider support, and performance improvement across locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s required; master’s preferred (MPH, MHA, MBA, or related). Experience desired will substitute for education on a year-by-year basis.
  • 5+ years in healthcare program management or clinical operations.
  • Experience in Women’s Health, OB/GYN, or FQHC strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with: Performance improvement, Data-driven decision-making, Multi-site program oversight, Strong leadership and changing agent management skills.
  • Strong leadership and change agent management skills in a multi-site healthcare environment.
  • Ability to drive performance improvement using data and operational metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and health equity.
  • Knowledge of FQHC operations, including PCMH model and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with healthcare data analysis, reporting, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and related clinical systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Understanding of care coordination, referrals management, and access optimization strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across sites.
  • Ability to travel between clinic sites as needed.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions, including use of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to travel between sites and attend meetings as required.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership & Strategy: Leads the development and execution of Women’s Health program strategy across all sites. Identifies opportunities for program growth, service expansion, and improved patient access. Partners with executive leadership to align program goals with organizational priorities.
  • Performance Management & Accountability: Owns program-level performance metrics, including: Visit volume, Access (appointment availability), Quality measures (prenatal care, screenings, etc.). Analyzes data trends and drives improvement initiatives across sites. Works with clinic managers to address performance gaps.
  • Clinical Operations Partnership: Partners with Clinic/Practice Managers to support consistent implementation of workflows. Does not directly manage front desk, staffing schedules, or daily clinic operations. Supports providers and nursing teams in optimizing patient flow and care delivery.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensures compliance with all Women’s Health-related grants and programs (Family Planning, etc.). Partners with clinical leadership to support high quality improvement initiatives. Monitors adherence to regulatory and HRSA requirements.
  • Team & Culture Leadership: Promotes a collaborative, accountable, and patient-centered culture across Women’s Health teams. Addresses behavioral and cultural issues in partnership with clinic managers and HR. Supports staff development, training, and engagement.
