About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in an outpatient setting in Greenville, NC. The coverage is for supplemental needs and is scheduled from ASAP through December 31, 2026. The role is clinical only, with a Monday-Friday shift schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, starting at 7:50 AM. The patient volume is expected to be 20-22 patients per day, with 2 new patient slots per half day. New patients are allotted 30 minutes, and return patients are allotted 15 minutes. The practice has 27 physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The NP/PA will be expected to respond to codes. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Active NC License
• BC/BE
• BLS

• GYN experience

Responsibilities

• Perform Colposcopy and LEEP procedures.
• Perform other simple in-office GYN procedures if adequately experienced.
• Conduct routine GYN visits.
• Manage Annual & Postpartum visits.
• Treat abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Address post-menopausal bleeding.
• Manage non-complex ovarian cysts.
• Respond to codes.
