About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Wiring Technician – Switchgear to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will wire electrical components for switchgear systems based on schematics and engineering drawings. Your work will ensure reliable power solutions that support our global customers. Shifts available: 1st: 6am-2pm Mon- Friday, 1st: 6am-4pm Mon- Thursday, 2nd: 3pm-11pm Mon- Friday, 2nd: 4pm-2am Mon- Thursday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in using wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, hand tools, and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety standards (OSHA, NEC).
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or switchgear assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect wiring for electrical switchgear components based on detailed schematics, diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Mount relays, circuit breakers, switches, busbars, and other electrical hardware into enclosures using hand and power tools.
• Route, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables accurately and efficiently using proper techniques and tools.
• Conduct self-inspections of wiring to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and code standards.
• Assist in functional testing of wiring systems and troubleshoot issues such as miswires or component malfunctions.
• Follow work instructions and document completed wiring tasks according to production requirements.
• Work safely around electrical components and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
