About The Position

This role involves manufacturing, assembling, and packaging candy products according to customer specifications. The Candy Technician is responsible for maintaining continuous operation during their shift, resolving production issues, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and clean work environment, promoting teamwork, and adhering to SQF Food Safety standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to report to assigned work station prepared to manufacture/assemble/package product as directed.
  • Ability to maintain continuous operation during shift by manufacturing, assembling, inspecting and packaging product per customer specifications.
  • Ability to resolve production problems by notifying appropriate personnel for assistance and obtaining additional resources.
  • Ability to report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and effective relations among all contacts by setting positive examples.
  • Ability to contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ability to work safely and maintain a safe work environment, including attending required training, identifying and reporting hazards, wearing required PPE, and being accountable for self and co-worker safety.
  • Familiarity with and compliance with SQF Food Safety standards.
  • Ability to ensure all product produced meets assigned quality standards.
