About The Position
Arch Telecom’s Mobile Associates work as part of a retail team to represent the brand and provide an engaging customer experience. This is a learning role: associates develop skills and expertise in preparation for promotion to Mobile Expert after completing training. The position focuses on building customer relationships, understanding individual needs, demonstrating wireless technology, and recommending personalized device and service solutions. Associates use digital tools to explain coverage and plans, assist with device and account inspection and troubleshooting, and partner with colleagues across business and customer service to resolve issues and identify small-business leads. The role is based at the Sanford, Florida, retail location and is available full-time or part-time.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school degree or GED.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability for either full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20+ hours) work.
- Strong desire to learn customer advocacy skills and build meaningful customer connections.
- Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learn and share best practices, serve customers, and resolve issues.
- Ability to balance customer experience and performance goals.
- Six months of customer service and/or sales experience.

- Retail environment experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and build proficiency in customer service while providing a high-quality customer experience and building customer loyalty.
- Help customers continue their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
- Explore customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of in-store technology.
- Recommend personalized solutions, including devices, service plans, accessories, and Internet of Things devices.
- Guide customers through purchases by asking thoughtful questions, providing informative answers, and sharing expertise.
- Approach customer service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
- Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, services, and device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
- Complete training on the in-store experience, new skills and processes, systems, and reference resources.
- Partner with colleagues across business and customer service to resolve issues and create a seamless customer experience.
- Identify and hand off small-business leads.
- Build peer relationships and contribute to shared accountability for company success.
