About The Position

Your Wireless, a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer, is hiring a full-time Wireless Retail Sales Associate in Houma, Louisiana. The associate works directly with customers to provide an excellent customer experience, educate them about Verizon products and services, and guide them through product selection and purchase. The role includes meeting and exceeding sales goals, supporting store leadership, completing required training, and developing skills for potential career advancement. Compensation is up to $30.00 per hour or more, including base hourly pay, commissions, and incentives. The position offers an uncapped commission structure.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a similar retail role; wireless retail experience is preferred.
Proof of achievement in prior sales and customer service roles.
Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products, and customer service.
Ability to travel to various locations in the assigned district as business needs dictate.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience with Verizon Wireless or another wireless business.

Responsibilities

Create an ideal customer experience for every customer.
Assist new and existing customers throughout the sales process.
Educate customers about Verizon products and services.
Generate sufficient sales to meet and exceed company and location production standards.
Handle customer situations as trained to satisfy customers’ needs.
Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with tasks assigned individually or to the team.
Complete all required training as directed by Your Wireless and Verizon Wireless.
Model personal and professional conduct for employees and others.
Develop professional skills to take on additional responsibilities and pursue career advancement opportunities.
