About The Position

Arch Telecom’s Mobile Associates work as part of a retail team to represent the brand and provide customers with a first-class experience. This is a learning role: Associates build the skills and expertise needed to progress to Mobile Expert after completing training. They help customers find technology and service solutions, build customer relationships, and contribute to a fast-paced sales environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school degree or GED.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for either full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20+ hours) work.
• Strong desire to learn and build meaningful customer connections.
• Competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Willingness to learn and share best practices with peers and store leaders.
• Ability to balance customer experience and performance goals.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers continue their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, and in-store channels.
• Explore customer needs and demonstrate technology in the store.
• Recommend personalized device, service, accessory, and Internet of Things solutions.
• Guide customers through purchases by asking thoughtful questions, providing informative answers, and sharing expertise.
• Address sales and service needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
• Learn to use digital tools to explain coverage and plans, and to inspect, review, and troubleshoot devices and accounts.
• Complete training on the in-store experience, skills, processes, systems, and reference resources.
• Partner with employees across business and customer service channels to resolve issues and create a seamless customer experience.
• Identify and hand off small-business leads.
• Build peer relationships and contribute to shared accountability for company success.
