About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Wire EDM Set-Up & Operator to support precision manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to produce high-quality parts used by toolmakers and designers. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, experience with precision machining, and a commitment to quality.
Requirements
- Experience with Wire EDM setup and operation required
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and techniques
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Programming experience with EDM equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up and program Wire EDM machines for precision part production
- Ensure proper machine functionality and optimal performance
- Monitor EDM machining processes to maintain quality and efficiency
- Measure and document part dimensions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Inspect finished products to verify specifications and tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
