About The Position

They are seeking a Recut Setup Operator for a first shift position at their Plant 2 facility in Hanover, PA. This role involves setting up recutting machines to cut cores into smaller lengths, operating these machines, and troubleshooting any related issues to ensure the production of quality products according to specifications.

Requirements

• High school education/GED
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with prior machine operation and set up experience
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up recutting machines to cut cores into smaller lengths for industry
• Run and understand operation of the recut machines
• Problem solve issues related to the position
• Read and understand spec sheet and production orders to set-up machines correctly to produce a quality product
• Measuring, calipering, and checking the overall quality of the tolerances per spec sheet
• Understanding all machine operations to cut the product to spec sheet/customer specifications
• Identifying quality deficiencies and ability to identify and perform corrective action
• Ability to communicate finished product on production order
• Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area
• Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and other essential tasks assigned
