About The Position

Our Client is looking for a Wire Bending CNC Machine Operator who will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC wire bending equipment to produce quality wire-form products according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. This position ensures production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while minimizing waste and downtime.

Requirements

Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with CNC wire bending equipment.
Knowledge of CNC programming and editing
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC wire bending machines to manufacture wire forms and components.
Load wire material and tooling according to setup requirements.
Make machine adjustments to ensure products meet dimensional and quality standards.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and templates.
Monitor machine performance and production output throughout the shift.
Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and programming issues to reduce downtime.
Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records.
