About The Position

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is seeking a Winter Food & Beverage Janitor to help maintain clean and safe lodge facilities during the winter season. This role is crucial in ensuring guests have a positive and welcoming experience on the mountain. The position is seasonal, operating from mid-October through mid-May, and offers a unique opportunity to work at a nonprofit mountain recreation area while living in Boise.

Requirements

• Passion for Bogus Basin’s mission.
• Ability to perform janitorial tasks efficiently and accurately with or without supervision.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, balance, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required.
• Ability to lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to perform cleaning and stocking duties.
• Ability to work the full winter season (mid-October through mid-May).
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and clean condition of all assigned areas, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, reporting any maintenance issues as needed.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in lodge common areas.
• Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Assist guests with questions or concerns, or direct them to supervisors/managers.
• Perform other related tasks as necessary.
