About The Position

This position is available in locations listed in the job posting within a variety of Abbott’s divisions. As a 2027 Winter Co-op you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a 6–8-month co-op program and gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects and responsibilities that vary by team and function. Abbott Divisions include: Structural Heart (SH), Cardiac Rhythm Technologies (CRM), Heart Failure (HF), and Diagnostics. Other opportunities may exist in other areas of the business as well such as: Regulatory Affairs, Biology, and Life Sciences.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) onsite during the Co-op session
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Must be able to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now and in the future at any point in time
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision
