About The Position

Join See Ya Later Ranch as a Winery Associate to deliver outstanding guest experiences and share the unique story of the winery. As a Tasting Room Associate, you will directly impact lasting memories by providing exceptional tasting experiences. See Ya Later Ranch is part of Great Estates Okanagan, which includes Culmina, Laughing Stock, Nk’Mip Cellars, and Cellar Door & More Okanagan. The overarching mission is to build brands people love, with the company being part of Arterra Wines Canada, which boasts over 140 years of experience in the Canadian wine industry, five estate wineries, and over 1,700 acres of premium vineyards. Arterra Wines Canada also operates 164 Wine Rack retail stores and RJS Craft Winemaking.

Requirements

• 19 years of age or older
• Serving It Right certificate
• Must possess a passion for people, wine, food and the hospitality industry
• Detail oriented, multitasking ability and strong work ethic required – individually and as part of a team
• Courteous, friendly, positive attitude
• Able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Able to work weekends throughout the season

Nice To Haves

• WSET or ISG considered an asset but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests in a friendly and enthusiastic way
• Tell the winery's story
• Pour wine samples
• Maintain wine & merchandise levels
• Process wine sales
• Promote the wine club
• Use the POS system
• Polish glassware
• Perform daily closing procedures as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
• Help the team meet sales targets
