About The Position
Entourage is a private sales and marketing firm specializing in the wine and spirits industries. The Wine & Spirits Steward represents promoted brands at wholesale club locations in the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area. The role involves educating customers about wine and spirits brands, consulting with patrons, and providing service in the wine and spirits departments. Representatives receive educational materials to help them speak knowledgeably about the products. This is a flexible, part-time brand ambassador position. Shifts are as needed, typically on Fridays and Saturdays and/or Sundays, and last six hours. Compensation starts at $20 per hour, depending on experience, with additional quantity-based earning potential.
Requirements
- Notable knowledge of wine and spirits.
- Comfort talking with customers.
- Solid sales skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in fine dining restaurants, wine retail shops, or catering companies.
- Bartending experience or enthusiasm for wine.
