About The Position

PRP Wine International is the pioneer of in-home wine samplings, delivering the taste and feel of the vineyards to clients' doorsteps for over 30 years. Our goal is to entertain and educate clients on the world of fine wines, building close relationships through personal service. We have been sharing fine wines exclusively through fun and educational wine tastings held in private and intimate environments since 1972 in the USA. We have also implemented virtual tastings into our wine program, allowing clients to choose their comfort level. PRP Wine International is a market innovator of wine gifts for business and is involved in sharing our concept through Charity Fund Raisers and Networking events.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Interest/Knowledge in wine.
• Willingness to participate in community functions and events.
• Self-Starter.
• Organized.
• Coachable.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with your clients.
• Comfortable calling existing and prospective clients to set wine tastings.
• Ability to build long-term relationships through personal interaction.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• A college degree or some college course experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of B2B or B2C sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule three to five in-home wine samplings per week.
• Attend meetings at our office.
• Work weekly events.
• Attend weekly sales meetings.
• Use our computer system to enter orders and sample orders.
• Research charities and events in the area that we can work with.
• Report weekly sales figures.
• Call clients to confirm and book appointments.
• Keep a database of clients to invite to events.
• Stay on top of industry news and trends.
