Raytheon currently has an exciting IT position available that supports the Raytheon mission of making the world a safer place. We are currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator that will be working onsite in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi–disciplined environment. The Systems Administrator is required to have an active secret security clearance as they will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience using Active Directory, VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), or ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
  • Experience with Windows deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.
  • Scripting Experience.
  • Experience using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
  • Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.

  • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS)
  • Experience with data RAID, data backup uses and technologies
  • Install and configure software applications requested by end users
  • Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements
  • Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date
