About The Position
Seeking a senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer with strong Windows Server, SQL, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, networking fundamentals, and PowerShell automation experience. Must have enterprise infrastructure delivery experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across infrastructure, application, and architecture teams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
- Current experience supporting Windows, SQL, and cloud-based environments.
- Experience with automation and script development (PowerShell preferred).
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM (OVM), Azure, and AWS.
- In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals, including: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, OpenSSL, BIND, Sendmail
- Experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional approach to complex technical challenges.
- Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience supporting containerized or cloud-native platforms.
- Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, or related certifications.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure solutions.
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure across VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and technical solutions.
- Create technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational support materials.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, operating system, virtualization, and cloud issues.
- Participate in project delivery activities, including off-hours implementations when required.
- Manage multiple priorities while working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
