About The Position

DigiOffice is seeking an experienced and technically deep Windows Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support a hybrid enterprise infrastructure environment spanning on-premises data centers and Microsoft Azure. This role serves as a primary technical resource for Windows Server, VMware virtualization, SQL Server platforms, backup and disaster recovery, enterprise storage, and cloud-hosted infrastructure within a national logistics and transportation operation. The right candidate brings broad enterprise infrastructure depth, operates independently in complex production environments, and partners effectively with Infrastructure, Security, Networking, Cloud Engineering, and Application Development teams. This is a 100% on-site role in Johns Creek, GA. Remote or hybrid candidates will not be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Windows Server administration experience.
  • 5+ years of VMware administration experience.
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • Experience administering enterprise backup and DR solutions — Rubrik and Zerto strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting SQL Server environments.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell automation.
  • Experience with monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds or Azure Monitor.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform.
  • Experience in large enterprise, logistics, transportation, or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows Server 2019/2022 environments including deployment, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PKI services.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot OS and application-related issues.
  • Administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments including host provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage VM provisioning, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Implement high availability and disaster recovery best practices across the virtual environment.
  • Manage Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade platforms including provisioning, replication, snapshots, and capacity management.
  • Monitor storage performance and support integration with VMware and Windows environments.
  • Administer Rubrik backup infrastructure including policies, retention schedules, and restore testing.
  • Support cyber recovery and ransomware readiness initiatives and ensure backup compliance reporting.
  • Manage Zerto replication and Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs).
  • Develop, test, and maintain DR runbooks and perform periodic failover and failback testing.
  • Optimize RPO/RTO objectives and DR coverage across the environment.
  • Administer Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure supporting availability, performance, backup, and recovery.
  • Support Azure IaaS virtual machines, hybrid infrastructure services, networking, storage, backup, monitoring, and RBAC administration.
  • Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and security findings; support CyberArk and privileged access controls.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with internal standards and audit requirements.
