Windows Engineer
About The Position
The Systems platform team is seeking additional support to handle workstreams affected by AI adoption and enablement. The role will provide Windows and RHEL administration support, helping with remediation efforts across the Linux environment and supporting a smaller platform team as it absorbs remediation workstreams. The engineer will support large-scale enterprise vulnerability remediation across Windows Server environments. Work focuses on patch management, configuration remediation, security hardening, operational support for AI-identified vulnerabilities, and coordination with security and infrastructure teams to validate fixes.
Requirements
- Administration and system administration skills.
- Automation and scripting skills, including PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Windows administration and Windows Server.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Experience with BigFix and SCCM.
Responsibilities
- Remediate vulnerabilities across Windows Server environments.
- Execute operating system patching and security updates.
- Perform system hardening activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve remediation-related issues.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to validate fixes.
- Document remediation activities and outcomes.
- Provide Windows and RHEL administration support for remediation workstreams.
