Windows & Doors Installer Apprentice
About The Position
Greenfox Windows & Doors is seeking motivated, hands-on individuals to join their Installer Apprenticeship Program. This program offers paid comprehensive training, combining classroom sessions and on-site experience, to equip apprentices with the skills needed for residential window and door installations. The apprenticeship is a 3 to 6-month structured program leading to an industry-recognized Greenfox Installer Certification. Upon completion, apprentices will have the opportunity for full-time employment, ongoing mentorship, and a stable career in a thriving industry.
Requirements
- Applicants located in the greater Edmonton area are preferred. However, remain open to qualified candidates from other locations.
- Handy, mechanical, or construction aptitude is a strong asset
- Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with physical labor
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle early start times
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- No prior installation experience required--training is provided
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential window and door installations under the guidance of experienced installers
- Measure, prep, remove, and install window and door units safely and accurately
- Use hand and power tools to perform installation tasks and finishing work
- Support sealing, caulking, insulation, exterior finishing, and cleanup
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Participate in classroom training, supervised fieldwork, and ongoing coaching
