About The Position

This role is for a Remote/Local Windows Admin with experience in LDAP, Active Directory, SQL Server cluster, Hypervisor/Hyper-V/VMware, Networking, Linux, Ansible, Kubernetes, and security patching. The system analyst will provide support for critical TIERS systems, with a 24x7 on-call rotation required. Some weekend work is also required. This position is needed to continue support for critical systems in TIERS due to two members of a three-member team being out on FMLA. Work may require on-premise work at times.

Requirements

8 Required High level knowledge and experience of network facilities and data processing techniques, of computer hardware and software, of network operating system and security software, and of performance monitoring and capacity management tools
8 Required Knowledge and experience using LDAP/Windows Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hypervisor
8 Required Knowledge and experience of administering Windows Systems (Group Policy, Kerberos, NTLM, TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, PXE), Linux, Network Administration, IT Governance, and Security/Privacy policies and tools. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, DN
8 Required Additional / Preferred experience supporting the following: Ansible, SFTP/FTPS, Kubernetes and open-source software.
8 Required Ability to direct and organize work activities
8 Required Strong ability to identify problems/issues, analyze and evaluate alternatives and recommend/implement effective solutions.
8 Required Experience supporting WIndows and Linux systems in IaaS and with Cloud Service Providers
8 Required Experience providing server and application support on a 24X7 on-call basis and on a rotating schedule basis.
8 Required Experience with server hardware equipment replacement

Nice To Haves

6 Preferred Ability to prepare concise written reports appropriate to the audience. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
6 Preferred Ability to plan and coordinates server maintenance activities with TIERS Data Center Contractor and CSPs services, including security patching and other activities related to the TIERS Security Program. May assist in Data Center Maintenance Coordination.
1 Preferred Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise. Experience installing and implementing SQL Server clustered environment.
