About The Position

84 Lumber is hiring a full-time, hourly Window Service Technician to install and maintain windows at construction sites. The role also includes warehouse duties such as stocking inventory and loading and unloading semi-trailers. The position is offered at $19–$23 per hour, with overtime noted in the job title.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and documents, such as policy and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write short correspondence and memos and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
• High school diploma or GED, or related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install screens.
• Balance windows.
• Replace glass and/or sashes.
• Clean windows when installation is complete.
• Write routine reports and correspondence and present information to a small group.
• Stock warehouse inventory.
• Load and unload semi-trailers.
• Install and perform maintenance on windows at construction sites.
