About The Position

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented 1099 Window Installers to install windows in residential homes while ensuring quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. The position requires carpentry skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or lead an installation assistant as needed. This is a field-based role involving travel to residential job sites. Work is primarily outdoors and may be subject to varying weather conditions. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and tools. Scheduling is flexible based on project assignments. Compensation is competitive pay per project for 1099 contractors, with uncapped earning potential based on completed installations and ongoing work opportunities. Requirements

Proven experience in window installation, carpentry, or general home remodeling.
High attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Professional appearance, communication, and work ethic.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying materials.
Reliable transportation capable of safely transporting materials and tools to job sites.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
General Liability Insurance; proof must be provided.
Must supply personal tools necessary for window installation.

Responsibilities

Conduct professional, high-quality window installations according to company standards and project specifications.
Interact professionally with customers and uphold the company's reputation.
Ensure required tools, products, and materials are loaded and transported to job sites.
Review contracts, materials, and project instructions before starting installations.
Follow manufacturer engineering specifications and regulatory building codes.
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free job site.
Communicate with homeowners during installation and address questions or concerns.
Complete post-installation walkthroughs to demonstrate functionality and ensure customer satisfaction.
Present invoices to customers and collect final approvals upon project completion.
Assist the Installation Manager with duties needed to uphold company standards and meet department goals.
Troubleshoot unexpected installation challenges and communicate with the management team.
Keep job sites clean during installation and thoroughly clean them upon completion.
