Window Installer - Rochester
About The Position
West Shore Home is hiring an Installer to help perform safe, effective window and door installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a five-star experience. The role is based in Rochester, New York, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule starting at 6:30 a.m. Installers arrive at the warehouse to load materials and trucks, travel to customers’ homes, complete replacement window and exterior door installations, and return to the warehouse after finishing the work and paperwork. The approximate pay is $20–$22 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 a.m. to load materials and trucks.
- Travel to customers’ homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
- Remove existing window or door components, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim.
- Clean the work area thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
- Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while carrying out installations.
