About The Position

The Tech One Program (TOP) is a structured career development program for entry-level wind technicians, created through a partnership between Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas. TOP Wind Service Technicians receive exclusive Global Wind Organization (GWO)-accredited safety and technical training. Technicians primarily work at a wind site near home as part of a service team, helping ensure safe and efficient wind turbine maintenance. The position reports directly to the Program Manager and Site Manager, and indirectly to the Lead Technician during assignments. Technicians perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine generator equipment, including machinery and components used in power generation.
