As a Wind Sourcing Operations intern, you will support sourcing operations for wind turbine components and gain experience in the renewable energy sector. You will collaborate with industry experts, take part in team meetings, and contribute to process improvement discussions. You will help develop and execute projects that advance systems for data comprehension and visualization. The role supports processes and procedures that drive customer satisfaction, quality, fulfillment, and productivity savings in direct materials or contract labor. You will work with the broader sourcing team and cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements, evaluate internal and supplier-facing processes for gaps and opportunities, and explore ways to use AI for data analysis and contract tracking. You will also evaluate proposed process improvements and prepare business cases to justify their potential business benefits. The internship is scheduled for May through August 2027. A potential location is Pensacola, Florida. The position pays $1,000–$2,000 USD weekly; the specific offer may depend on experience, education, and skills. U.S. internship roles are ineligible for GE Vernova benefits. The posting separately describes relocation reimbursement eligibility, a weekly housing allowance for qualifying interns, an Employee Assistance Program, and conditional eligibility for the GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan.
