1st Response Pest Management is seeking an experienced Wildlife Technician to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated wildlife professional looking for a long-term career with an established, family-owned company known for exceptional customer service and premium-quality work. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants should have at least three (3) years of professional wildlife control experience and be capable of independently inspecting, diagnosing, selling, and performing wildlife services with minimal supervision. Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of professional wildlife control experience
  • Experience with nuisance wildlife including squirrels, raccoons, bats, birds, skunks, groundhogs, and similar species
  • Experience performing exclusion work and basic structural repairs
  • Ability to inspect properties and recommend appropriate wildlife solutions
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely work on ladders, roofs, crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas
  • Ability to obtain any required Ohio licenses or certifications if not already licensed

Responsibilities

  • Performing wildlife inspections
  • Identifying entry points and recommending exclusion solutions
  • Trapping and removing nuisance wildlife
  • Completing exclusion and repair work
  • Installing preventative measures to keep wildlife from returning
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with customers
  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Accurately documenting inspections and completed work
