Varment Guard is seeking full-time Wildlife Technicians in the Valparaiso, IN area to join their team. Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 + years old
- Ability to meet physical requirements and work on ladders and/or rooftops
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Wildlife Management or applicable degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Preventing, managing, and/or removing nuisance animals (such as raccoons, squirrels, opossums, skunks, groundhogs, etc.) that inhabit homes, buildings, and surrounding areas.
- Identifying potential issues.
- Conducting inspections.
- Designing management strategies.
- Working directly with customers.
- Using a number of products, protocols, and methods to remove nuisance wildlife.
- Interacting with customers respectfully.
- Approaching issues creatively and thoroughly.
- Giving quality results.
