About The Position

McCall Pest & Wildlife is hiring a Wildlife Technician to provide wildlife exclusion and animal removal services at customer locations. The position involves outdoor, independent, route-based work and direct customer interaction, with comprehensive training provided and no prior experience required. Technicians help protect homes, businesses, and families, maintain customer relationships, and work with internal teams to deliver service. The role also includes educating customers about wildlife services and working toward monthly sales goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods, including travel between counties or service areas.
• Ability to lift and move ladders longer than 32 feet and climb to 60 feet.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide wildlife exclusion services and remove animals at customer locations.
• Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications.
• Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed.
• Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal.
• Follow a service schedule within the assigned territory and ensure visits are safe and timely.
• Educate customers about wildlife services and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales, and management teams to provide customer service.
• Prioritize safety when handling company equipment and vehicles.
