Responsible for assisting in the certification process of all WIC applicants and working with all WIC staff to ensure client services are met in a timely, efficient manner. Interview participants to obtain basic demographic data; verify identity, residency, and income eligibility by reviewing the presented paperwork; and enter all data into the CT-WIC MIS software system. Provide individual and group nutrition education counseling to low-risk children. Provide WIC Program participant services and conduct clerical duties, including scheduling appointments, updating demographic data, and answering phones.
