About The Position

Wholesale Account Executive (Cannabis Industry) Massachusetts | Travel Required VanGarden is seeking an experienced Wholesale Account Executive to support the growth and distribution of our products across the Massachusetts cannabis market. This role is responsible for managing existing wholesale accounts while actively developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, an established network, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales and works cross-functionally with internal teams to support overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 2+ years of sales experience within the Massachusetts cannabis industry
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and Tableau
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand wholesale distribution to retail dispensaries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotions and product initiatives
  • Represent VanGarden at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
