About The Position

As a Whey Ingredients Technical Services Intern at Agropur, you will work alongside the Technical Services Manager and members of the Technical Services and Operations teams to research and manage assigned projects that support whey ingredient innovation and manufacturing. Interns are treated as valuable contributors, gaining hands-on experience, developing professional skills, and contributing to projects that create real business value while helping produce high-quality dairy products.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Dairy Science, Agricultural Science, Food Science, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
Interest in innovation, manufacturing, continuous improvement, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

Support dairy protein and whey ingredient research through laboratory experiments, pilot testing, and plant trials.
Design, execute, analyze, and document research projects while communicating results to technical and operations teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, and Plant Leadership to support project objectives.
Develop knowledge of dairy manufacturing, technical services, industry regulations, and Agropur's business operations.
Present project updates throughout the internship and deliver a final summary of results, recommendations, and lessons learned to stakeholders.
