WestWorld Grounds Laborer/Worker (PT)
About The Position
The WestWorld Maintenance Laborer/Worker supports equestrian and special events at WestWorld by completing operational maintenance work and assisting with recreation vehicle, feed, and bedding operations. Work may include landscaping, facility and barn maintenance, and event support. The role contributes to maintaining the grounds and facilities and supporting guests and participants. This is a part-time, unclassified, at-will position serving at the discretion of the City of Scottsdale. The position has limited benefits. The anticipated starting salary may be up to the midpoint depending on the candidate’s experience and internal equity; the listed midpoint is $25.54 per hour. Employees must reside in Arizona during their active employment with the City.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- General facility, grounds, and/or landscape experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the work.
- Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license with no major citations within the 36 months before the start date.
- Out-of-state driver’s licenses must be surrendered within 10 days of relocating to Arizona; a Graduated Driver’s License is considered restricted.
- Reside in the State of Arizona during active employment with the City of Scottsdale.
Responsibilities
- Complete operational maintenance work at WestWorld.
- Support recreation vehicle, feed, and bedding operations.
- Perform landscaping, facility maintenance, and barn maintenance as needed.
- Provide support for equestrian and special events.
