Framatome is seeking a Western Region Account Manager (RAM) to lead and expand strategic relationships with nuclear utility customers across the Western Region. This role focuses on strengthening partnerships within the STARS fleet, with primary emphasis on Arizona Public Service (APS) and the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. The Western Region Account Manager (RAM) serves as the customer advocate within Framatome and is accountable for developing deep customer intimacy—understanding each customer’s business priorities, operational challenges, decision-making processes, and long-term strategic objectives. Reflecting Framatome’s culture of customer centricity, the RAM will build trusted relationships across customer organizations, from plant and functional leadership through senior executives. The role requires close collaboration across Framatome’s business units to bring the full breadth of the company’s capabilities to customers and provide a coordinated, enterprise-level approach. Beyond identifying traditional sales opportunities, the RAM is expected to develop innovative commercial and relationship strategies that align Framatome’s capabilities with customer objectives and create differentiated, measurable value. Success will be measured by the depth of customer relationships, effectiveness of internal alignment, quality and growth of the opportunity pipeline, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth across the Western Region—with development of the APS relationship as a central priority.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
  • Expansive network of connections in the nuclear industry.
  • Proficient in promoting Business Unit (BU) products and solutions, identifying early-stage opportunities and collaborating with BU sales teams to develop strategies for closing deals.
  • Ability to use CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain extensive and positive client relationships from the technical/operational plant departments to the C-Level.
  • Master customer organization, decision making and validation processes and make this information available to Framatome teams.
  • Support the promotion of Framatome products and solutions as per BU development strategies within customer organization and directly contribute to the early identification of new opportunities and markets.
  • Communicate the Value Proposition to the customer.
  • Contribute to defining with the BU the winning prices for Framatome offers and actively contribute to the definition of offers strategies and tactics as well as efficient partnerships strategies.
  • Contribute in the effort to defend Framatome offers and closing orders.
  • Contribute to filling and maintaining SPEAK data and information, in a coordinated manner with Framatome BUs.
  • Participate on Framatome validation committees.
  • Integrate their activities, missions and goals within BU’s activities, and utilize their Customer knowledge and intimacy to provide insights to the BU for innovative customer solutions in the frame of business development.
  • Ensure Framatome executives develop and maintain relationships with the Customer, arranging for periodic face to face interactions multiple times within the year as appropriate considering the current and potential business.
