About The Position

As a Territory Account Manager at TD SYNNEX, you’ll own or support daily engagement with a defined portfolio of key clients. You will proactively drive revenue, margin, and share growth by executing strategic, account-specific business plans. You’ll collaborate across supporting departments and partner with TD SYNNEX leadership to resolve complex customer challenges, deliver an exceptional experience, and ensure organizational profitability. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and who’s passionate about technology distribution and solutions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in technology distribution or IT services.
  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree plus relevant experience, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated P&L accountability and ability to make sound financial decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: you can tackle issues of moderate scope, escalate appropriately, and think both strategically and tactically.
  • Persuasive communicator and negotiator with the ability to craft win-win solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking abilities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and proposal tools; quick to adopt new technologies.
  • Collaborative mindset: you build positive, inclusive relationships across diverse teams and management levels.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering an exceptional experience and long-term value.
  • Adaptable to change, resilient under pressure, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical skills: you can interpret sales data, recognize trends, and prepare clear, actionable reports.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end profitability of your assigned region.
  • Make data-driven, transactional decisions that boost margins and align with overall business objectives.
  • Build deep relationships at every level—from technical buyers to C-suite executives.
  • Develop and execute account plans that expand service offerings, drive renewals, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Stay current on TD SYNNEX’s full suite of technology solutions (hardware, software, cloud, and services).
  • Proactively present tailored proposals that solve client challenges and position us as a trusted advisor.
  • Generate new business through targeted outbound outreach, collaborative prospecting with Inside Account Representatives, and networking at industry events (up to 25% travel).
  • Partner with field sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to respond to RFPs, develop compelling proposals, and deliver quarterly business reviews.
  • Identify and resolve moderate to complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • Leverage internal resources to ensure swift, constructive outcomes for customers.
  • Document best practices, refine sales workflows, and delegate repetitive tasks to internal support teams to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead customer onboarding and strategic initiatives, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
