About The Position

Alto Evergreen Walk is seeking a PRN Wellness Nurse (LPN) for their Assisted Living facility in South Windsor, CT. This role is designed for individuals who prefer to work on weekends, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on resident well-being. The position involves supervising the care team, ensuring high-quality resident care, administering medications, and responding to changes in resident conditions. Same-day pay is available, and the role offers a chance to work on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Active LPN license in good standing.
CPR/AED certification.
1+ year of LPN experience in senior care.
A clean background check.
Commitment to a drug-free workplace.
Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support the care team, monitoring resident wellbeing in Assisted Living.
Guide daily assignments, coach the team, and help solve problems.
Deliver resident care in line with provider orders and nursing best practices.
Administer medications accurately.
Respond to changes in resident condition.
Handle first aid.
Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting residents' needs and monitoring residents' conditions in AL.
Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
Other job duties as assigned.
