About The Position

Mason Wright Senior Living is seeking a caring and experienced LPN or RN to join its Health & Wellness team for a 40-hour-per-week role. The Wellness Nurse supports the health, safety, and well-being of older adult residents by completing assessments, care plans, and documentation; overseeing medication management; communicating with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers; and responding to health concerns and emergencies. The role also supports staff training, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of safe, compassionate, quality care.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, every other weekend, alternating holidays, and an evening/overnight on-call rotation. The nurse must be flexible to respond to resident needs outside scheduled hours. The stated hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pay is $35.00–$37.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for specified shifts.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts LPN or RN license.
• 1–2 years of experience with older adults and/or dementia.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising CNAs, HHAs, RCAs, or similar staff.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to respond to resident needs outside scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident health, safety, and well-being.
• Complete resident assessments, care plans, and documentation.
• Oversee medication management and conduct weekly medication audits.
• Train and support RCAs in the SAMM medication program.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
• Respond to health concerns and emergency situations.
• Support staff training, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Help ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and quality care.

Benefits

• $3.00/hour shift differential for the 1st shift on weekends and the 2nd shift weekdays (Monday–Friday).
• $4.00/hour shift differential for weekends from 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
