Wellness Manager

Arch Amenities Group•Chicago, IL

About The Position

The Wellness Manager is the Spa Director’s strategic and hands-on execution partner, responsible for advancing the property’s luxury wellness vision. The role connects spa, fitness, recovery, salon, retail, pool, lifestyle programming, and community engagement into a cohesive wellness experience for hotel guests, local guests, residents, and members. The manager turns strategy into relevant programs, guest experiences, activation plans, and measurable business outcomes, with emphasis on repeat engagement, membership value, local capture, cross-utilization, and luxury service standards. This execution-focused leadership role owns the wellness agenda, coordinates initiatives across spa and fitness, mobilizes the team, and ensures concepts are operationally sound, commercially viable, and delivered consistently. It also supports daily leadership coverage and Manager-on-Duty responsibilities as assigned. Direct treatments or wellness services may be provided when appropriately licensed and scheduled, but service delivery is secondary to leadership and program execution.

  • Coordinate spaces, equipment, supplies, signage, technology, and setup with operations and engineering teams; address safety and maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate program calendars, attendance records, incident documentation, vendor files, and operational recaps.
  • Provide treatments or wellness services when appropriately licensed and scheduled, if needed to support the guest experience.
