About The Position

Acts is seeking a Wellness Home Services Caregiver to provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in independent living. The caregiver delivers direct, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility, while prioritizing residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity. The role also involves monitoring residents’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly reporting changes to the appropriate supervisor to support proactive, personalized care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program, or equivalent verifiable training and experience meeting applicable state requirements.
• Current CPR certification, or obtain certification within three months of employment.
• If responsible for transporting a resident, maintain a valid state driver’s license and provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.

Nice To Haves

• At least three months of hands-on caregiving experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.

• Promptly report changes in residents’ condition to the appropriate supervisor.
