About The Position
Acts is seeking a Wellness Home Services Provider (GNA) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents across all levels of care. The role provides direct, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility, while prioritizing residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity. The provider monitors residents’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly reports changes to the appropriate supervisor to support proactive, personalized care. The position requires compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process. Acts Retirement-Life Communities operates continuing care senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. Requirements
- Complete an approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) program, or have equivalent verifiable training and experience meeting applicable state requirements.
- Hold current CPR certification or obtain it within three months of employment.
- If responsible for transporting a resident, maintain a valid state driver’s license and provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.
- Comply with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents within all levels of care.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
- Prioritize residents’ safety, comfort, and dignity.
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Transport residents when responsible for doing so.
