About The Position
The Renley at Woodholme Gardens, an assisted living and memory care community in Pikesville, Maryland, is seeking a Wellness Director (RN Delegating Nurse) to lead clinical and resident care services. The role oversees care for assisted living and memory care residents, supports clinical excellence, and ensures regulatory compliance. The Wellness Director serves as the community’s Maryland Delegating Nurse and works with caregivers, residents’ families, and healthcare providers to promote a compassionate, accountable, resident-centered experience.
Requirements
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current Maryland Delegating Nurse certification.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience in senior living, assisted living, home health, geriatrics, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong assessment, care planning, and team leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted living or memory care leadership experience.
- Experience supervising medication technicians and direct care staff.
- Knowledge of Maryland assisted living regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the community’s Maryland Delegating Nurse.
- Oversee resident assessments, service plans, and care coordination.
- Supervise and develop caregivers and medication technicians.
- Ensure compliance with Maryland assisted living regulations and community standards.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
- Monitor quality outcomes and implement continuous improvements.
- Support resident admissions, transitions, and family communications.
- Manage clinical operations, infection prevention, and risk management initiatives.
- Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and resident-centered care.
