About The Position

Provides nutrition and diabetes education to patients and community members, in both one-on-one sessions and group classes. Assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutritional care plans, and evaluates and reports these results appropriately.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian, licensed in NC or Registered Dietitian eligible.
• BCLS for healthcare providers or completion of BCLS from the American Heart Association within one month of employment date.
• Two years of experience.
• Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
• Successful completion of internship may be considered in place of work experience.
