About The Position

The Wellness Coordinator at EHM Senior Solutions will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being of our senior residents. This position is dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing wellness programs that promote physical, emotional, and social health, ensuring our residents lead fulfilling and active lives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of senior health and wellness needs, including physical, mental, and social aspects.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in using wellness and health-related software and technology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate senior participants.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt programs to meet the evolving needs of participants.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in senior wellness programming.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in wellness program coordination, preferably within a senior care or healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing wellness programs tailored to senior populations.
  • Experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals and community organizations to enhance program offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive wellness programs tailored to the needs of senior residents, focusing on physical fitness, mental health, and social engagement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, fitness trainers, and other staff to deliver high-quality wellness services and activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs, making adjustments as necessary to meet the evolving needs of residents.
  • Organize and lead group activities, workshops, and events that promote a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community among residents.
  • Provide one-on-one wellness consultations to residents, offering personalized guidance and support to help them achieve their health goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of program participation and resident progress, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in senior wellness to continually enhance program offerings.
  • Communicate regularly with residents and their families to provide updates on wellness initiatives and encourage active participation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to integrate wellness programs into the broader care plan for residents, ensuring a holistic approach to their well-being.
