About The Position
The Wellness Coordinator provides direct caregiving and medication technician support to meet staffing plan requirements and coordinates resident care. The role includes sharing information with families, staff, physicians, and third-party providers; covering open shifts; and assisting residents with daily personal care. The position involves working a variety of shifts in a senior living community.
Requirements
- Caregiving and medication technician experience.
- Compassion, patience, kindness, and an interest in working with senior adults.
- Creativity, flexibility, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of the geriatric population, including people with complex medical needs.
- Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care support by performing caregiving and medication technician duties to meet staffing plan requirements.
- Coordinate resident care and disseminate information to families, staff, physicians, and third-party providers.
- Cover open shifts as needed.
- Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, personal care, and hygiene.
- Communicate with healthcare staff and department personnel about residents’ conditions.
- Maintain required written records and documentation.
- Communicate with residents, families, and support personnel to ensure residents’ needs are continually met.
- Provide health services training to other community employees and oversee the medication administration program.
