The Wellness Center Licensed Student Counselor provides direct counseling services and case management to students, addressing personal, academic, career, and crisis issues. This role involves supporting faculty with mental health questions, developing caseloads for at-risk students, and responding to crisis situations. The counselor will also provide online counseling, maintain confidential records, and offer community resource referrals. Additionally, the position involves ADA/504 compliance and accommodations, including reviewing medical documentation and educating staff on regulations. The role also includes Title IX and supportive services coordination, assisting the Title IX Coordinator, and serving as a resource for students affected by sexual harassment, assault, dating violence, and stalking. The counselor will also provide campus-wide awareness and training on disability rights, Title IX requirements, and available resources, and collaborate with various stakeholders to support student well-being. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisory staff.
