Wellness Center Associate (Part-Time)

About The Position
The Wellness Center Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy exercise environment by conducting daily maintenance and cleaning/sanitizing of all equipment in the common area of the wellness center. Candidates should also be familiar with fitness equipment and keeping up to date on safety and fitness trends. The YMCA fosters an environment that creates change that is supportive to and resulting in our members feeling confident in themselves and the changes they will make towards a healthier tomorrow.
Requirements
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications is required within 30 days of hire date
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to work positively with members and staff
Nice To Haves
- Educational background in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Health Education or related field
