About The Position

The Wellness Floor Attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming and safe environment in the Wellness Center. This role supports members and guests by providing basic equipment guidance, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to safety policies.

Requirements

• Friendly, approachable, and customer service–focused
• Ability to communicate with individuals of all ages and abilities
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire
• Must be reliable and able to work independently

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of fitness equipment preferred (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Provide basic orientation to fitness equipment and wellness center layout
• Monitor the wellness floor to ensure safe and appropriate use of equipment
• Enforce wellness center policies, including age guidelines and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workout areas throughout shift
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Respond appropriately to incidents and seek support when needed
• Assist in promoting wellness programs, classes, and services as appropriate
