About The Position

Develops, evaluates and supports in the administration of wellness solutions to promote employee health and well-being. Promotes integrated wellness offerings through active, ongoing communication, presentations, and consultative support. Assesses existing wellness initiatives and identifies areas for enhancement. Creates tailored wellness programming with the goal of promoting healthy lifestyles, enhancing wellbeing, and reducing health-related cost for the groups. This position is hybrid three days onsite and two days remote, full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year wellness program administration and/or health promotions.
  • Effective organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Good judgment skills.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
  • Public speaking and presentation ability.
  • Basic business math proficiency.
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive materials.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and be resourceful.
  • Research and program development skills.
  • Proficient in surveying methods and program evaluation techniques.
  • Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years’ experience in planning, organizing and supervising wellness programs or in marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to design and implement wellness initiatives, proficiency in data analysis tools, and familiarity with health and wellness trends.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access Database design.
  • Certified Health Education Specialist; accredited Personal Training certification or accredited Group Exercise Instructor.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the implementation of well-being solutions through strategic product recommendations, targeted communications, consultative engagement, and performance reporting.
  • Develops, coordinates, evaluates and provides customer support for integrated wellness products and services.
  • Collaborates with clients to develop wellness programs and communication plans.
  • Advises account management teams in the selection of the appropriate wellness solutions for clients.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on integrated wellness products and provides expertise as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of related services and refers to appropriate health offerings as needed.
  • Reviews and maintains marketing materials and distributes to clients for their use.
  • Identifies gaps in marketing materials and provides strategic recommendations for new marketing collateral.
  • Analyzes market trends to guide product strategy and ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Leverages feedback from issue tracking, client input, and market trends to enhance the well-being support model and evaluate service effectiveness.
  • Reviews and analyzes program metrics, medical utilization, and diagnosis data from clients to support strategic wellness initiatives.
