About The Position

Creates and maintains standard project artifacts and helps support the execution of project activities. Coordinates activities and resources in support of one or more small to medium-sized project(s) that impact multiple departments, systems, work flows with medium to high risk, scope, size and complexity. Collaborates with project team to develop, maintain, and project manage aspects of a particular project(s). Develops and maintains project infrastructure in relation to tools, processes, and resources in conjunction with leadership. Works closely with other team members to collect and route information, and assists in managing project timelines and escalates as appropriate. Independently manage work plans for sub teams or workgroups within the context of more complex projects. The successful candidate will have critical thinking skills, ability to track data and create graphics, ability to improve existing processes and scale projects across the system.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma: High School or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • College coursework in business, project management, math, economics, health care administration or equivalent education/experience
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
  • Strong skills utilizing MS Excel and MS Planner
  • Working knowledge of general Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMOK) and project management methodologies and/or Sutter Health’s project methodology and project management methodology.
  • Thorough understanding of current trends and strategies in healthcare in relation to information services.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain schedule within Project Server.
  • Prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Work independently and identify potentially more effective methods of work operation.
  • Work as part of a team or collaborate with colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience utilizing AI tools is highly desired
  • Previous experience editing/developing a SharePoint site is highly desired
