San Juan College is seeking an experienced welder to share their expertise with students in the Welding Department. This full-time, nine-month position begins in Spring 2027. Requirements

Associate Science Degree or Welding Certificates in a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
Minimum of five years of Journeyman level welding experience.

Responsibilities

Provide 15 credit hours of instruction per semester, primarily in Welding courses such as Basic Welding, Blueprint Reading, MIG Welding, TIG Welding, Plate Welding, Metal Fabrication, and Pipe Welding.
Conduct assessments, serve on college and department committees, and maintain office hours.
Develop program-specific curriculum, course guides, syllabi, and related materials.
Supervise adjunct instructors.
Perform duties related to instruction, shop maintenance, and other assigned tasks.
